I am a historian of early American social, cultural, and economic history with interests in women’s and gender history as well as print culture.  I am an assistant professor of history in the Division of Global Cultures at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA.  I am working on my book manuscript, “Fashioning American Women: Godey’s Lady’s Book, Consumerism, and Periodical Publishing in the Nineteenth Century.”
